The Canada study permit is a government-issued document that allows an international student to study in Canada for a set period. The following are the requirements for obtaining a study permit in Canada.

  • Letter of Acceptance from DLI:
  • You must receive a letter of acceptance (LOA) from a recognized educational institution known as the designated learning institute (DLI).

  • Enough money:
  • Students must demonstrate that they have sufficient finances to cover the

In Canada, master's programmes are typically planned to last one to two years as a full-time study program. While each institution's eligibility criteria vary depending on the stream and other factors, the following are the most typical requirements:

  • Minimum of 16 years of educational experience with a 3.0 GPA in bachelor's degree.
  • A two-year master's degree is required if you have a three-year bachelor's degree. Few schools, however, accept a three-year bachelor's degree with 15 years of study.
  • IELTS results with a minimum total score of 6.5.
  • Only a few colleges may need you to submit GRE scores with a minimum of 260*.
  • *This is a common requirement for engineering and science-based programs.
  • Many Canadian business schools require you to take the GMAT exam with a minimum score of 650 if you want to pursue a Master's degree in management fields like MBA, Finance, or Accounting.
What are the Requirements for Studying in Canada with a Bachelor's Degree?
  • You need to have twelve years of continuous schooling, and provide scanned transcripts and mark sheets as proof.
  • You need to appear for language proficiency test, and your IELTS score should not be less than 6 bands in each module.
  • If you are planning to pursue your education from a Canadian University you need to have sufficient funds (20,000 CAD – 25,000 CAD) and for college (15000 CAD – 20000 CAD).

What are the Qualifications for Diploma Programs in Canada?

Requirements to study in Canada for Diploma Program:

  • English Language Test: Preferred IELTS (6 BANDS OVERALL) try and avoid PTE and TOFEL.
  • You need to have a minimum of 55% in class 12th if you want admission in a college to pursue diploma course.
  • If you wish to apply under Student Direct Stream then you need to have no less than 6 bands overall. In case you are planning to apply under Non-Student Direct Stream then you need to at least have no less than 5 bands.
