Life at Lambton

Lambton College, Sarnia

Adjoining both Lake Huron and the St. Clair River, Sarnia is most known for its waterfront, in particular its sandy beaches, swimming, boating, fishing, and its well-kept walking trails.

With a population of 75,000, Sarnia has all the amenities of a big city. Its sporting events, dining and shopping establishments and rich arts and theatre community make it the perfect place for a diverse student body. When the city itself is not enough, its proximity to both Detroit and Toronto makes day-trips or weekend excursions easy and affordable.

Lambton Student Life

Student life at Lambton is about getting the full college experience, which means feeling at home on campus. The smaller student body allows students to easily make friends and get to know classmates, and plenty of socializing opportunities exist in both the Student Centre and on-campus pub The Lion’s Den.

Outside the classroom and common areas, there are plenty of athletic activities, concerts and clubs for students to pursue their interests and develop new ones with their peers.

Lambton Student Housing

Lambton’s on-campus student residence is composed of 140 shared rooms. Each room contains two single beds or two double beds, two desk chairs, two armoires with built-in shelves, and a shared washroom. Cable, internet and local phone connections are included, and a laundry card is provided to students, which can be loaded by debit or credit card.
