Experiential Learning

The best way for you to learn what it takes to succeed in your chosen field is to roll up your sleeves and do the work! This is why nearly all of DC’s 140+ full-time programs include an experiential learning component, such as apprenticeship, co-op, field placement, capstone project, applied research and other hands-on opportunities. Experiential learning is a process in which students learn by doing and reflecting on their experience. By immersing yourself in an experiential learning opportunity, you’ll get to flex and develop the skills you’ve learned in the classroom, network and make industry contacts and gain real-world work experience that will help you stand out from the crowd in a competitive job market.
