How to apply to North Island College

Applying for admission to North Island College (NIC) is easy. We will guide you through the steps!

Step 1: Choose your program:

North Island College (NIC) offers more than 100 programs, so please select the program you want to apply for.

Step 2: Check Admission Requirements and Availability:

Each and every program has its own requirements, such as IELTS, percentage, course-specific subject requirements, etc., so review the admissions requirements of your chosen program.

Students will only be considered for the program if the open program means the college accepts applications under that course.

If program seats are full or reserved, then you will not be considered for the program in that intake. However, you can request a deferral for the upcoming intake

Review the admissions deadlines before lodging an application.

Step 4: Apply Online:

Once you are sure about the program, requirements, and availability, you can apply for admission to the North Island college by paying the admission application fee of CAD 100 and uploading your required documents. Please find the documents listed here.

Step: 5 Accept the offer letter and pay the tuition fee:

Once you receive the Letter of Invitation from North Island College (NIC), you must pay the tuition deposit to secure a seat in the program. Please pay your tuition fee within 30 days of receiving your invitation letter.

Letter of Acceptance/Confirmation of Enrolment:

A Letter of Acceptance will be issued upon payment of the tuition deposit and submission of all special requirements.

Step 6: Apply for your Canada Study Permit:

After receiving your confirmation of enrolment, you can apply for a Canadian study permit.
