Algonquin college International Admissions Requirements

Before apply for admission in Algonquin college please check the admission Requirements.

Basic Requirements for all students:

• International Application Form (International Application Form)
• Application fee $95 CAD

A. Admission To Postsecondary Certificate or Diploma Program (1/2/3 years)

To apply for Postsecondary Certificate or Diploma Program (1/2/3 years) you need to meet the following:

• CBSE or ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) – Higher Secondary Certificate – An overall aggregate of 60%, with AC program core subjects (as per program page) at 55% min. and no grade below 50%
• Or Punjab, Haryana, and Gujarat State Boards – Higher Secondary Certificate – An overall aggregate of 65%, with AC program core subjects (as per program page) at 60% min. and no grade below 50%
• Or all other State Boards – Higher Secondary transcripts – An overall aggregate of 60%, with AC program core subjects (as per program page) at 55% min. and no grade below 50%
• And English Proficiency requirements are as follows for consideration: Academic IELTS with an overall minimum score of 6.0 (with no single test score below 6.0)

B. Admission To Postsecondary Bachelor’s Degree Program (4 years)

To apply for Postsecondary Bachelor’s Degree Program (4 years) one of the following certificates with a minimum mark overall 65% and min 60% min. in required program subjects:

• Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
• The India Senior School Certificate
• The Pre-University Examination Certificate
• The Intermediate Examination Certificate
• English Proficiency requirements are as follows for consideration:Academic IELTS with an overall minimum score of 6.5 (with no single test score below 6.0)

C. Admission To A Post Graduate Certificate Program (1 or 2 year)

To apply for Post Graduate Certificate Program (1 or 2 year) you need to meet one of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 55% or higher and university transcripts, with 10 or fewer retakes for a 3 or 4 year bachelor. There can be no more than 3 retakes for any one subject.
• Diploma or Provisional Certificate for proof of graduation.
• English Proficiency requirements are as follows for consideration:
• Academic IELTS with an overall minimum score of 6.5 (with no single test score below 6.0)

Gap acceptance”

You may not meet all eligibility criteria if my Study Gap is longer than 3 years after high school and 7 years after university, or based on study gap between any two qualifications after high school.
